Amy Ortiz is an L.A.-based multidisciplinary designer and creative problem-solver with strong ties to community and a passion for using design to create new ways of thinking. Inspired by everyday life and local cultures, especially of her hometown Los Angeles, Ortiz develops impactful branding packages for clients from fashion to music, retail to restaurants. Through graphic design, layout, and typography, as well as traditional illustration and screenprinting, she uses her keen visual sense in color and form to help brands captivate new audiences. Trained as a painter and printmaker, she weaves together whimsy and satire in her own work, and isn’t afraid to make bold branding campaigns that ensure clients stand out. Ortiz holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
